"From my private cellar, I tasted the 2007 Pinot Noir next to the Blaufränkisch wines of this report and it showed very well. Aged 8.5 years now, the wine has reached its best phase today. Ruby-colored with a brick rim, the delicately fruity and lovely matured bouquet offers sweet and dried red cherry and wild berry aromas along with floral and spicy flavors. On the palate this is an intense, sweet and juicy, very elegant and delicate, perfectly round and juicy Pinot with gorgeous concentration and fine tannins also from the oak. Although I find the wine too hard and oaky in its youth, I have to admit that everything comes together today. I also believe this wine can age for another five or more years."
